A Slight Altercation
We welcome with open arms and thankful hearts sweet little Isabella, who will go by "Isabella," according to her parents. Her name has been tweaked slightly to Isabella Aurora Janelle Bender (adjusting Jane to the French version).
The Lord answered our prayers for an un-drugged, non C-section birth, with a healthy baby. He is so good! We fought hard for this outcome with prayer, because the doctor seemed bent on a C-section from the moment he walked in the door. But the Lord heard our prayers and Autumn pushed like a champion. I had the privilege of coaching, and am overwhelmed with joy and so proud of Autumn and Matthew. I also have a new appreciation for their union. As of last evening, both mom and baby were doing well. They should be coming home from the hospital about... now!
Our God is worthy of praise...
